Girona FC have renewed their collaboration agreement with Ipsum Sports, which will remain the Official Training Center of the club's Academy. The deal, valid for another season, ensures the club's youth players continue to receive specialized support in physical preparation and readaptation. This continuity is especially valuable for a club sitting seventh in the Segunda División with 21 points, from six wins, three draws and three losses in the first twelve games.

Girona president Delfí Geli praised the continuity of the partnership. "The training of our players goes far beyond football work", Geli said. "We want the Academy footballers to have the best tools and professionals to continue growing, and the continuity of the collaboration with Ipsum Sports allows us to keep strengthening this crucial area of their development".

Edu Garcia, founder of Ipsum Sports, highlighted the mutual commitment. "Renewing this agreement is a sign of mutual trust and commitment to the training of young footballers", Garcia stated. "At Ipsum Sports, we want to contribute to preparing them to face the physical demands of football and accompany them through the different stages of their careers".

The collaboration focuses on specific areas such as strength work, injury prevention, readaptation, recovery and neuromuscular assessment. The club's academy players will be able to complement their regular training with specific sessions at Ipsum Sports' facilities in Girona. This support is key as the first team, seventh in the Segunda División standings with 21 points, looks to consolidate its form after a run of three wins, one draw and one defeat in its last five matches. The team has scored 22 goals and conceded just 11, reflecting a solid offensive and defensive balance, with a standout scorer in Y. Asprilla, who has five goals this season.

Michel's side now faces a significant test against second-placed Almeria at home on November 8th. This fixture follows the recent 1-0 loss to Real Sociedad II on October 31st, and a 0-2 victory over Cuarte on October 27th, with goals from A. Ruiz and O. Pyshchur. Keeping young talents in peak physical condition is a fundamental piece for the future of the club's sporting project, which currently sits six points behind the league leaders.
