Girona FC to face Castellón and Alavés in pre-season friendlies, aiming to improve league position
The Girona FC has announced its pre-season calendar, which includes two friendly matches with Castellón and Alavés. The matches will be played behind closed doors, but fans will be able to follow them on television and online.
The first match, against Castellón, will be broadcast live on Esport3, while the match against Alavés will be available on the official YouTube channel of the Vitoria-based team.
These two matches will serve to continue accumulating minutes and fine-tuning the team before the start of the official season. The Pablo Hernández-led team is currently in 12th place in the League, with 38 points, 9 wins, 11 draws, and 11 losses in 31 games played.
The pre-season matches will take place from July 27 to August 1 at the Royalverd Training Center, where the team has been working hard to improve its position in the League.
The next Girona FC match will be against Sabadell on January 3, 2027.
