Turnstile incident at El Arcángel

Córdoba CF announced that, following a turnstile malfunction during the season 2026-2027 opening match against Girona (2-1), it will recognize all its subscribers for the 2026-2027 season as attendees. The incident, attributed to LaLiga’s management system and not the club, prevented the official entry records needed to count attendance in the loyalty program Fieles desde 1954.

Effect on the loyalty program

The Fieles desde 1954 program links rewards and bonuses to attendance at consecutive blocks of three league matches. To access the privilege packages, a subscriber must attend the three matches that make up each block consecutively. With the adopted measure, the match against Girona, the first of the season at home, will count as the first of those encounters for all members, regardless of the access control incident.

Experiences moved to Granada

The incident also affected the Cordobesista, es tu momento program, which offers experiences and prizes via a draw for subscribers who attend. Without official entry records, the experiences and prizes planned for attendees of the Girona match will be carried over to the next home game, when Córdoba CF faces Granada on Sunday 30 August at 21:30.

Official statement

The club stated on Monday that, in this way, all subscribers will have their attendance recorded for the match on 21 August, and that the problem was related to LaLiga’s management system. The measure aims to prevent the incident from affecting the loyalty program and to ensure members receive the corresponding benefits and experiences.

Upcoming match

Córdoba CF’s next match will be against Granada on 30 August at 21:30, where the experiences and prizes accumulated from the Girona match will be transferred.
